Teacher Appreciation
What do you do at your school for teacher appreciation? Do you celebrate one day? One week? Or do you do fun things for teachers all year long? What gifts do you give? What awards do you give, and how often? Tell us your ideas!!! Post your comments here, and be sure to say your name and what school you are from!

Hi, I'm Jenny Ly from the Fairmont Prep Academy ASB in Anaheim. Teacher appreciation week is actually going on this week. This year's theme was the "Fairmont Hotel" and on the first day, the teachers "checked in" at our little easy up in front of the school. They received a little chinese take out box and inside were marbles and other little cheap items with a note inside explaining what they were for. Like the marbles, we said we gave them extra marbles because they've lost them or something, etc. Inside the teachers' lounges, we had a continental breakfast set up for them and the next day, there was a luncheon for the teachers. We are also having a spa day where masseuses come in and give them massages. There is also going to be a waffle breakfast served to the teachers tomorrow morning. Lucky them :]! On the last day, we conveniently have an assembly and we had everyone during the week, in their homerooms, vote for most inspirational teacher, best new teacher, most likely to win a beauty pageant teacher, etc and we are goign to announce all the winning teachers at the assembly. Well, that's just a good idea our ASB came up with and I thought I'd share it with you :] ~Jenny
